Er. Baich came on board almost immediaboly and said

that the officials could not agree to an oxamination of

the body unless there was a medical officer prosent to

cartify the cause of death. In spite of my assurance

that we had already received a aritten cœrtificate

Dr. Paremport, the Radical Officer, they themselves now

I then went down below to the lowar dock where I

found the dead body partially covered over with a red
